OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Answer to question 1 is atomic number 6 and mass number 14 which is A. Question 2 Every half-life leaves you with half of the material with which you started. We are looking at a time of 2,000 years with a material whose half-life is also 2,000 years. So, after 2,000 years you will have half remaining. It says we started with 100 grams, so after 2,000 years 50 grams (answer B) will be remaining.
