Re: Exam #4, question 5a. The solutions provided start by saying: "Parametrize the curve: y = t, x = t + t^3". However, is this step really necessary since x is already written explicitly as a function of y? In other words, if I set up the equation exactly the same way (but it was in terms of "y" instead of "t") would I have gotten any points deducted for my answer?
