General computer question: Does anything other than the processor inside the computer heat up? I can see the battery might, and maybe the graphics card, but I was wondering what actually heats up inside a computer when it's running under a lot of load.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Everything on the board. The more wires it has, the more heat. And a CPU has a ton of very, very small wires in it.
