What are the intercepts of 4x -5y= -20? show how u got it please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Make a table with x and y, then plug in the numbers. I will not give you the answer until you try. Here's an example of what you'd do. NOT THE ANSWER. 4(3)-5(5)=-13 I plugged those numbers in but they didn't equal to -20. So now you can try yourself plugging in numbers.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

to get the y-intercept, set y =0, solve for "x" to get the x-intercept, set x =0, solve for "y"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for x solve for y insert 0 in place of x to find y intercept insert 0 in place of y to find x intercept
