I'm not sure if anyone can help, but I need to find the probability for each sum of dice... "Using the sample space for tossing 2 dice, construct a probability distribution for the sums 2 through 12. Input answers as reduced fractions. X 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 P(x) ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?" I know I probably could count the possibilities but is there a formula for this? I'm having a difficult time coming up with a decent formula that works....thank you

I know that the sum of 5 is 1/9 because there are 4 possibilities, 1+4,4+1, 2+3, 3+2. What's the formula that follows this pattern?
