integrals, Please help me solve this thingy : http://screencast.com/t/p9IkklokqHO

hartnn (hartnn):

try to put u =cos x then du = ... ?

OpenStudy (christos):

Yep, that worked indeed

hartnn (hartnn):

cool :D lets see what majdishokri has to say...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SIN(x) = y >>>>>>>> dy/dx= COS(x) >>> dx= COS(X)*dy \[\int\limits \sin(x)^3*y *dy /sine(x) \] as well as \[\int\limits \sin(x)^2 *y*dy \] but sin(x)^2= 1-cos(x)^2 and cos (x)=y \[\int\limits(1-y^2)*y\] \[\int\limits y-y^3 dy\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y^2/2-Y^3/3 then replace y >>>>> y= sin(x)
