List the intercepts, vertex, and axis of symmetry for each quadratic function whose graph is shown. Please help!

The axis of symmetry is the line that goes through the vertex, and the vertex is the point at the very top or very bottom of the parabola. The intercepts are where either x or y = 0; where the line literally intercepts the axis. Where do you think the intercepts are for the first graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be -3, 1 for the first graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Intercepts are points, so fit the form (x,y). The x intercepts are most definitely (-3,0), and (1,0) :) How about the y intercept?

OpenStudy (dan815):

axis of symmetry, look where the graph looks like a mirror of it self
