Burning gas causes the oven chamber to heat up.
Outputs
Heat is released.
Temperature reaches set level.
Cookies bake.
Feedback
Thermostat measures temperature.
If the temperature exceeds a certain level, the gas shuts off.
If the temperature falls below a certain level, the gas turns on.

With no feedback mechanism you will not get you answers and wont know any thing about the oven wich means you wont be able to bake the cookies
