How is impulse different from force and how is momentum different from velocity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

momentum is the product of mass and velocity. for example if bus and car are moving with same speed bus will have more momentum as its mass is more than car. if both hit same object bus will cause more damage due to its large momentum.for detail see following page of wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momentum
