Oh boy that's a tough question.

Keyboard skills seems to be similar to learning a language: Much easier to improve upon / learn if you do it at a younger age.

How to improve? Hmmmmmm.

2 things you can do to improve your keyboard skills? Hmmm... well if you mean How to type faster or to type without looking than I have a opinion more than an actual answer:

1. Try to remember where the keys are and to not look down like cover the keys so you can't see them yet your fingers and hands can still. Plus press keys randomly like for example if you think this key is a "p" but its a "b" yet you don't know that than press it and you'll realize its wrong, backspace and try again. Remember if you do screw up look at the keys and see where they are than cover them or not look at them I am good at this.

2. You know those two bumps on the keys "f" and "j" well your first fingers for both of your hands should go there. Your right index/first finger goes on "j" and your left index/first finger goes on "f" try to remember the position of all the keys. If you play games than Wasd keys are memorable and keys around the Wasd keys may become familiar so you will eventually know, plus taking classes at school also helped me improve my memorization of most of the keys I also remember more and more keys to eventually I will know all the keys its just basically memorization and just memorizing the keys on the keyboard.
