Can anyone help me with this problem? 1) how many structures are possible for a square planar molecule with a formula of AX2Y2? 2)how many structures are possible for a tetrahedral molecule with a formula of AHXYZ? It will be very appreciated if someone can explain me how to find the structures :)

@Mertsj here's the question

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I'm sorry. I do not know how to do this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's fine, thank you for trying though :)

2 structures are possible for a square planar molecule. same goes for the 2nd.Molecular geometry may be defined as the three-dimensional arrangement of atoms in a molecule. The study of molecular geometry is important in that a molecule’s geometry affects its physical and chemical properties, such as melting point, boiling point, density, and the types of reactions it undergoes
