\[\left| 2x-1 \right|\div \left| x+1 \right|=3\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Write the left side as one fraction inside one absolute value sign. Next, you have (2x - 1)/(x + 1) = 3 AND (2x - 1)/(x + 1) = - 3 Solve both equations for x and those would be the solution.
