OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well do you know what the cos curve looks like...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok...do you have a calculator...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

does it have a key cos and above it in another colour is \[\cos^{-1}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I see it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait is it zero? the answer?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... press the key that says 2nd or perhaps shift... then cos the screen displays \[\cos^{-1}(\] enter 1 and close the brackets and then press =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I did and I got 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the problem said to leave the answer in degrees and radians.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so its 0 degrees and zero radians... an alternate answer, because of the cyclic nature of the curve is 360 degrees or 2 pi radians

OpenStudy (anonymous):
