Can chromosomal disorders such as Down's Syndrome etc. be passed on to the progeny (Is it heritable)?

No because it is due to autosomal chromosomes ( 21th pair ) non- disjuction ..

Most are not but it is possible. Generally speaking, Down's Syndrome is not heritable, but there is a very rare form of it that can be.

see basically person with down's syndrome are sterile..so passing on this trait to the progeny is almost impossible...
