Just look at where all the vertices and y intercepts go 1) vertex at (-2,-4) instead of (0,0) -everything is shifted to the left 2 and down 4 2) everything is shifted right 1, flipped upside down because of the negative, and squished in because the curves are sharper cause of the 4 3) everything is moved up 1 and widened
