What is the y-intercept of the equation 3y+2x=12

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

solve for y by subtracting x from both sides then dividing both sides by 3 then the number that does not include the variable is your y-intercept

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

you need to put your equation in y = mx + b form. After you do that, the y int will be in the b position of the formula.
