Find three consecutive integers with a sum of 24

OpenStudy (anonymous):

consider dem as x-1,x,x+1 and those no.;s are 7,8,9

OpenStudy (austinl):

We have three numbers that when added are 24. One number, and that number plus one and minus one. \(x\\ x-1\\ x+1\) Which are equal to 24 \(x+(x+1)+(x-1)=24\) Solve for x, and that will give you one number, you can then solve for the other numbers!
