Please help me. Medal is given. Jack's pet dog has been prescribed x mg of a medicine per day. Each pill of the medicine has 10 mg of the medicine. Jack has to give his dog a total of 30 pills. If Jack gave his dog medicine for 9 days, use the expression below to interpret the situation. 30 - 9 times x over 10 Part A: What does x over 10 represent? (3 points) Part B: What does the second term of the expression represent? (3 points) Part C: What does the entire expression represent? (4 points)

(4 points) so if jack has to give his dog 30 pills, and each one contains 10 mg, then do 30x10 to get that answer so thats 300mg That's as far as I can go, this is really tough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i am but i have to do it today because i failed it like 3 times

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BeckieBird what part is that for? I just got part A... Now I just need B and C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the entire expression represents the total amount of medicine given over 9 days, not sure about B though

OpenStudy (badhi):

since there are 10mg in a pill and x mg is needed per day, x/10 represents number of pills needed per day. therefore 9*(x/10) represents number of pills needed for 9 days since at the beginning there were 30 pills , after 9 days there should be 30 - 9*(x/10) pills Hope you can find the answers in this
