Jack's pet dog has been prescribed x mg of a medicine per day. Each pill of the medicine has 10 mg of the medicine. Jack has to give his dog a total of 30 pills. If Jack gave his dog medicine for 9 days, use the expression below to interpret the situation.

so if jack has to give his dog 30 pills, and each one contains 10 mg, then do 30x10 to get that answer

I think the entire expression represents the total amount of medicine given over 9 days, not sure about B though

since there are 10mg in a pill and x mg is needed per day,

x/10 represents number of pills needed per day.

therefore 9*(x/10) represents number of pills needed for 9 days

since at the beginning there were 30 pills , after 9 days there should be
30 - 9*(x/10) pills
