The domain of the following relation: R: {(3, −2), (1, 2), (−1, −4), (−1, 2)} is {−1, 1, 3} {−1, −1, 1, 3} {−4, −2, 2, 2} {−4, −2, 2}

myininaya (myininaya):

Just all the x's (don't repeat any x's in the set though)

MADROCKZ YOU SURE

myininaya (myininaya):

It would be better @madrockz if they can come to a conclusion on their own.

myininaya (myininaya):

(x,y) The first value of each of those pairs is the x-coordinate. Now just tell me what all the x values are (but just make sure you have no repetitions) @kstate

i m sure...first one is the correct answer.bcoz in a set like(x,y),(a,b)(c,d)....x,a,c are the elemtents of domain while y,b,d are elements of range.and id some digit occurs twice then it is taken once only...like here -1 occured twice but we will write -1 only once not twice
