Is the inequality below sometimes, always, or never true? -2(2x + 9) > -4x + 9 A. always B. sometimes C. never And will someone please explain to me how you got that

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

if x > or < than something then sometimes but when trying to get x -2(2x + 9) > -4x + 9 first distribute -2(2x) +(-2)(9) > -4x + 9 -4x - 18 > -4x + 9 the x's cancel out when you add 4x to both sides +4x +4x -18 > 9 -18 is not greater than 9 so your answer is never
