Explain how to evaluate this integral:

OpenStudy (ness9630):

\[\LARGE \int\limits_{0}^{4} 2x~ dx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so the way i do this is firstly I just integrate the expression you see in front of you, so what do you get?

OpenStudy (ness9630):

It would be x^2 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

absolutly so I write this like this personally but it isn't really important |dw:1381771682503:dw| then i analyse the statement like this \[[x^2] at 4 - [x^2]at0\]
