Which of the following is an example of a positive feedback? A) A low level of oxygen in the blood triggers production of red blood cells, which transport oxygen. B) An increase in blood sugar level stimulates the pancreas to secrete insulin, which lowers blood sugar level. B I think.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not B ):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awe. I'm sorry. Try A because those are both positive feedback.

Hemostasis is the process whereby bleeding is halted. A major part of this is coagulation. Platelet accumulation causes blood clotting in response to a break or tear in the lining of blood vessels. Unlike the majority of control mechanisms in human body, the hemostasis utilizes positive feedback, for the more the clot grows, the more clotting occurs, until the blood stops. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_homeostasis

^^
