You are travelling in a train that is slowing down upon approaching the station. You throw a heavy ball, aiming it directly at the ceiling above your chair. Relative to you, where will the ball fall? Explain your answer.

The answer would depend on the speed of the train. Just because it is slowing down doesn't mean it's fully stopped so I believe that the ball would fall on the seat behind you or even farther back. Like I said, it would depend on the speed of the train and they don't give you the specific speed. So since it says it is slowing down it wouldn't go very far backward, probably only a seat or two.
