Use the substitution method to solve the system of equations 4(x+4)=8(y+2) 18y-22=3x+2 A. (4,2) B.(8,10) C.(6, 1/2) D.(4,8) E.(12,6)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well take the 2nd equation and make x the subject subtract 2 from both sides of the equation 18y - 24 = 3x now divide both sides by 3 6y - 8 = x substitute this into the 1st equation and solve for y when you get y, substitute it into either equation to find x
