A cylindrical can is undergoing a transformation in which the radius and height are varying continuously with time t. The height is decreasing at the rate of 10 inches per minute while the radius is increasing at the rate of 4 inches per minute. Is the volume increasing or decreasing, and at what rate, when the height is 5 inches and the radius is 3 inches? The volume of cylinder is given by V=pi*r^2*h V=pi*r^2*h V' = 2 π r r' h + π r² h' V' = 2 π *3* (4) * 5 + π 3² (-10) V' = 120π + (-90π) V' = 30pie am I right or did I miss something?
