What is the factorization of the polynomial graphed below? Assume it has no constant factor. Write each factor as a polynomial in descending order. http://twitter.yfrog.com/j69425p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it looks like it crosses the \(x\) axis at \(4\) and \(7\) that means it is zero there which means you can factor it as \((x-4)(x-7)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in general if it is zero at \(a\) and \(b\) then a quadratic will factor as \((x-a)(x-b)\)
