gud mrng everyone..I read that sperm takes 63 days from secretion to maturation. If so, how can billions of sperms can be produced? Can anyone give me a reliable answer please?

there are billions of cells(self renewing) in the semineferous tubules that produce spermatids every minute.these spermatids look very different from mature sperms.and it takes around 63 days to get matured into sperm.so, every minute there will be thousands and thousands of sperms forming.this is a continous process.it is not that a set of cells produce spermatids which mature into sperms after 63 days and then the next set of cells.at a given point of time a cross section of seminiferous tubule shows thousands of different stages of sperm
