Juan is rappelling down a 569-foot cliff. He moves down the cliff at a rate of 7 feet per second. Which equation would represent the height Juan is above the ground, H, after t seconds? A. H = 569 - 7t B. H = 569 + 7t C. H = 7 - 569t D. H = 7 + 569t

If you are 569 feet up, that's your starting point. And you descend at 7 ft/sec - a negative value because your height is decreasing, right? So you get H = 569 - 7t.
