Write an equation that is perpendicular to y=-4x+2.?? HELPPPP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any equation with a slope of the negative reciprocal is perpendicular. So y=(1/4)x+ 5 for example would be perpendicular.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer would be y=1/4x+1.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah that could work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks.(:
