Measure the corresponding angles where the lines intersect the border. If the angles are congruent, the lines are parallel. The seven long diagonals are clearly not parallel. Draw a diagonal connecting the opposite corners. If it makes an angle of 45º with each long diagonal, the long diagonals are parallel.
