please help the diagram is in the comments Count the number of tick-marks on each diagonal. Diagonals with the same number of tick-marks are parallel. Measure the corresponding angles where the lines intersect the border. If the angles are congruent, the lines are parallel. The seven long diagonals are clearly not parallel. Draw a diagonal connecting the opposite corners. If it makes an angle of 45º with each long diagonal, the long diagonals are parallel.
