OpenStudy (asylum15):

Euler's method question.

OpenStudy (asylum15):

At the beginning of the question, I need to have my formula in the form of dy/dx = f(x,y)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im thinking this might be short line segments

OpenStudy (asylum15):

\[\frac{ dy }{ dx } -5x +4y = -2\]

OpenStudy (austinl):

What this means is that you need to have a derivative of y in regards to x equal to a function of x and y. I dunno if that helps.

OpenStudy (asylum15):

I need to manipulate that to get it in the form shown in my first post. I'm just not sure what to do with the constant -2?

OpenStudy (asylum15):

dy/dx = 5x - 4y is not correct, ignoring the -2?
