In the below system, solve for y in the first equation. 2x + y = 11 5x - 2y = -1 2x + 11 -2x + 11 2x - 11 -2x - 11 2. In the below system, solve for y in the first equation. x + 3y = 6 2x - y = 10 one thirdx + 2 negative one thirdx + 6 -x + 2 negative one thirdx + 2 3. What is the value of y in the solution to the following system of equations? 5x - 3y = -3 2x - 6y = -6 -1 zero 1 2 4. Use the substitution method to solve the following system of equations. 3x + 5y = 3 x + 2y = 0 (1, 1) (6, -3) (6, 1) (1, -3) PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Not trying to be rude, but there is a thing called your brain. If you just read the question and work out the problem I bet you anything you'll get it right. :) If you don't then post your work and then someone can help you correct your mistakes. Not just baby you and give you the answer.

That's the problem, you don't care. So why should anyone help someone who doesn't actually care?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do care, about my grade :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I'm not going to help you unless you show effort and actually try. Best of luck to you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you even know yourself?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually I do know myself. I try and then I ask. I don't just straight up cheat.
