What are some examples of when the judicial branch has canceled an admendment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 21st amendment was created to cancel the 18th amendment of prohibition, which made alcohol illegal

The 21st amendment overturned the 18th amendment - but that is an action of the legislative branch, not the judicial branch. The Supreme Court cannot cancel an Amendment to the Constitution - the Supreme Court's authority it to explain or interpret the Constitution, it does not have the authority to "cancel" a part of it. If the Supreme Court can't do it - no part of the judicial branch can. Can you give me some context for this question so I can help better?
