Why is it difficult to find evidence of life on other planets?

In order to find life on other planets you have to find certain molecules that are the base of life. Like water. It's not hard to find, just there is so much out their. I personally think their is life out there.

You know that astrobiologist has decided that the water makes a planet habitable. Like Mars, it has a water. But its still hard to find that there is extraterrestrial life in another planet although has a water. 
And also, exoplanets are so far away. 

The fact, We still have no real evidence of extraterrestrial civilizations.

because no one has really left earth it was a hoax ,so mechanical robots are not efficient enough to recognized much less to find an hiding lifeform
