That is a 30 60 90 triangle the sides of which are in the ratio hypotenuse = 2 medium side = sqrt(3) short side = 1 The height of the pole is the medium side so: 2 / sqrt(3) = 600 / x 2x = 1.732 * 600 x = 1.732 * 300 x = 519.6 So I guess you are right kwayquay
