I think u a aware of "COVALENT BONDING"
atoms bond with other atoms to become stable...
for that..
sometimes they give electrons or sometimes they take electrons
else
they share electrons

COVALENT bonds occur when atoms share electrons..

So....
some atoms become more stable by sharing electrons
