@Directrix can you help me please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what is a reflection? Can you tell me what is the reflection of point C along X-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk wat u r talking about

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k.............when a points reflects along a line it means as if the line is a mirror and we have to find where the reflection of the point will be. So lets say X axis is the mirror and C(2,4) is a point. Now where will be the image of C be formed when I place a mirror on the X-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just tell me the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: An image is formed behind the mirror at an equal distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now can you tell me where will the image of point C(2,4) be if I keep the mirror on X-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk
