The arrival of the Europeans were apart of the columbian exchange. The Europeans treated the Native Americans horribly. They made some of them slaves but most were killed off before they could do this; the europeans had brought diseases over to north america and because Native American's were never exposed to these kinds of diseases their immune systems couldn't take it. The Europeans robbed them of their culture, religion, and land. Only about 10% of them were left and 3/4 of them were the ones made slaves. The European settler's arrival greatly affected the Native Americans.
