OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

What is the order of operations when calculating the following... F=qv X B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as in the order of operations of a cross product?

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

do i multiply qv first and then take the cross product or do i take the cross product vxB and then multiply by q?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Shouldn't matter. The q is a scalar, so doesn't have an effect on the operation itself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ q \textbf v \times \textbf B = q (\textbf v \times \textbf B)\]
