Can anyone listen to this and tell me what they are saying? I have no idea and really need some help!
Wow - this is very unclear (at the beginning). I am going to try my hardest for you. ;]
I know. I had to record this from my computer. I'm sorry. It's from my stupid Spanish class. I have to answer questions about the listening part. I hate this class. lol
oh thats easy lol
These are the questions I have to answer about the recording... ¿Cómo se llama la señorita? ¿De dónde es? ¿Qué tiempo hace en diciembre? ¿Qué temperatura hace en el verano? En la Argentina, ¿julio es un mes de verano?
Can you tell me what they are saying in English?
lol yes but u can figure it out
But I have no idea what the lady is saying???
Okay - do you want this in English or in Spanish?
In English.
If you can
I can. ;] And btw, the whole thing needs to learn proper Spanish grammar, ahem. Dont tell your teacher.
What is the name of the lady? Where are you from? How is the weather in December? What temperature does in the summer? In Argentina, what July is a month of summer? thats what she said btw
Thats the questions that the teacher is asking me. I'm suppose to listen to the recording, and then answer the questions about the recording.
Those questions, that you just typed.
yeah those are the english translation of what she said
...... no
The lady answered the questions, but I don't know what she's saying
uh giveme her anwser and ill translate it
All I'm asking is for the English translation of the recording. That's all.
I didn't get the very first word, but: "I am from Buenos Aires and I live in "Mar de Plata"*, Argentina. I am a student and I like to skate and swim. In winter, the Mar de Plata, in July, I like to ski in the Andes. In Argentina, the months of summer are December, January, and February. I like to ride bicycle and go to the park with my friends. In summer, it is bery cold and the temperature is 38 degrees (celcius). In the winter it is very cold and it is 0 degrees or less. I like winter because I like to ski and I study, but I like summer better." *Since, Mar de Plata is a name, I am not going to change it to it's translation, "Ocean of Gold"
OMG. YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!!
I've been struggling on this for daaaays.
Can I ask you for one more favor?
Yeah, I think @seabass35 wanted you to look for the answers and I would have done the same thing, but since the audio was hard to understand (even for me) and sometimes didn't make sense, I decided to just give you the translation. ;] An yes, you can.
I have to respond to these questions that are about the recording... But I don't know how I should answer the first one.. ¿Cómo se llama la señorita? ¿De dónde es? ¿Qué tiempo hace en diciembre? ¿Qué temperatura hace en el verano? En la Argentina, ¿julio es un mes de verano?
AH! So that it was I didn't hear at first - the girl's name. Well you tell your teacher the audio was low quality and you didn't hear that one word. I am going to translate these questions for you to English and I am super-sure that you can answer them by yourself. ;] I BELIEVE in you. Just hold on like two minutes.
Okay. I know how to answer the rest, just not that first one. I'll go listen to the recording from my school website. Audacity might have cut the beginning off when I recorded it.
Oh, okay - so you just needed help with the first one, you don't want me to translate the questions?
No I already translated them with google. I just need help on the first one, yes. And I figured out that Audacity did cut off the beginning. Let me go record that part really fast and I'll post it.
:-O X.X
Here's the beginning.
It is most likely to be Natalia Butierres. :-)
And BTW - Don't get to used to Google Translate. It might be the best free translator, and might have gotten better, but it is only useful for [some] [short] sentences, phrases, and single words.
Ohhhhh! That makes sense listening to the beginning again.
That's usually what I use it for.
Thank you so much for your time btw. You are a complete life saver.
Oh, okay. Just don't want you to get bad grades because of Google. And thank you so much for letting me answer your question! It was a pleasure working with you and I ma going to give you a medal for being such a great learner! And I am also going to give you a virtual high five! (^_^)/\(^u^) Good luck with Epsañol and ¡Adiós!
