Have to write a short story from the point of view of a murderer. What are some examples, words of advice or techniques?

have you watched any murder shows? where you could strat with a foreshadow of the person, and then you can go to before where you lead to have that decision made.

you can foreshadow a person, also you need to catch the thoughts of the reader, make them think. For example: And in a sudden, they heard a MILD cry, like someone had been shot or stabbed, when I dashed to figure out, the thought was inimaginable. But what was it????? read our next book to find out. Or read on.

Thank you both :) and yes I have seen murder shows :) the thought never really came to me as to use them for some insight. OK so use suspense when telling the story? That is definitely a start :)
