The first thing we want to do is multiply by \(x^2\) to get it looking like a normal quadratic equation. \[2x^2 - 4 = -2x\]

We can rewrite it as \(2x^2 - 2x - 4 = 0\) which gives us things to plug into the quadratic formula. (Or you can factor if you prefer)
