Which of these is a major concern of nuclear power plants? air pollution disposal of wastes ozone layer degradation releasing extremely cold water into the environment The answer to this is either air pollution or disposal of wastes but im more towards disposal of wastes because a popular use for powerplants is uranium which is radioactive. @chmvijay

@dan815 you good in chemistry

@msumner

@wolfe8

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I'll go for waste

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one more Which statement regarding nuclear and chemical reactions is not true? Chemical reactions involve outer electrons. Only chemical reactions result in atom stability. Nuclear reactions release more energy per mole. Nuclear reactions occur in the nucleus of the atom. I believe it is the second one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just like to check my answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

'Air pollution' and 'disposal of wastes/pollution' is a definite concern and harm to the environment.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I go for B I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Centracco what you think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Air pollution is the one I would go with (for your first question)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(For your second question) I believe 'B' is correct, let me check...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says nuclear power plant on the first one and they deal with uranium which can be dangerous to the environment if not disposed of correctly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, heaviest natural element, radioactive, pretty dangerous

OpenStudy (anonymous):

centracco you should give wolfe a medal too

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

You guys are funny

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i need help I will call on you guys i guess wolfe could you give me a medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't care really
