how do you estimate by rounding to the nearest half

I think if i understand your question you round to the nearest 1/2 or .5 so 5.5 would round to 6.

it asked me 4 2/3 ( 6 1/8 - 2 9/10 ) + 8 2/15

well my guess is it would like you to add that all up and then round the out come to the nearest half so if it came out to 10.8 then round it to 11. if it came out to 8.9 round it to 10.
