Laser Tag There are three teachers playing laser tag and there are lines that create a coordinate grid. On the coordinate grid the teachers stand at points (0, 0), (3,-1), and (8, 13). At point (0, 0) Mr. Hewitt takes cover, while the two other teachers Mrs. Hoffman (8, 13) and Mrs. Chisholm (3, -1) have direct lines to shoot. Mrs. Hoffman is 15.3 ft away from Mr. Hewitt while Mrs. Chisholm is only 3.2 ft away. However in order for Mrs. Chisholm to take the shot she must step out into the open where she knows that Mrs. Hoffman can tag her. What is a reason that Mrs. Chisholm is positive
that she won't get shot?
xD You're still on this???
Yeah.. I am thing of just answering it with a wrong but creative answer and maybe get a good grade.. lol If you know the answer please just tell me! :(
Nope. It's too funny, and it's kinda sad, because I know the answer and you don't... mwahahahahahaha
Ok looks like I won't be going to teen retreat because I will to far behind in Geometry.. :'(
..... but... but...
Okay, so, what would e your answer, just taking a guess off of the information, and I'll help you findthe answer from there, because I can't just tell you, and its hard to explain
My guess is that Mrs. C could take the shot before Mrs. H could shoot her
Wow.. I don't really need to help with you anything. Since she's closer to Mr. Hewitt and has a better chance of actually being able to shoot and then get back into cover than Mrs. Hoffman who's 15.3 ft away. Most laser guns can't eve reach that far, so she'd have to be quick reflexes, and also, she'd have to step up a little bit.
