The equation x^10 − 10x^2 + 6 = 0 has a root in the interval (0, 2). true or false...

i put false because i evaluated the equation at both 0 and 2 and it was 6 and 990 for the values because that does not go from positive to negative or vice versa, i though it was false

Well, that is not enough to justify that it's false. It might actually have a dip between 0 and 2.
