Any help would be very much appreciated!!!!!!

divide by two, complete the square, and you will get a two different imaginary roots. Or you can use the quadratic formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

imaginary means, negative inside the radical

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I used the quadratic formula i got -0.25+ or - 1.561249i

@Rouault Does that mean the answer is one real root and one imaginary root?
