is it possible to have decreasing speed and decreasing acceleration? If yes, give an example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With motion problems acceleration effectively either speeds up or slows down speed/velocity If acceleration points in the direction with the intended motion then the velocity increases If acceleration points in the direction opposite the intended motion then the velocity decreases EXAMPLE: A ball rolling up a ramp will have acceleration slow the ball down over time -or- A traveling car that hits the break will have acceleration slow down the car from the brakes
