how to bisect a line in a square which is 15 by 15 cm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from corner to corner of midpoint to midpoint?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

midpint to midpoint it's just 15, corner to corner is 15 root 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use a compass and make sure that u open it so that the compass is longer than 7.5cm. Then place the point at the beginning of the line and draw 2 arcs above the line and below the line. Then use the same length of the compass for the other side of the line and then u will have two arcs that cross above the line and below the line. Use a ruler to draw another line that joins the 2 arcs above and the 2 arcs below together :)
