The following business letter needs some work. Read the letter to answer the question. Square Box Company 56789 South Bend Circle King, Illinois 55544 Hello Mr. or Ms. Smith, 1 Would you consider this donation to our school? We would love to talk with you and share our plans for the floats if that would interest you. Please let me know if you are willing and able to help us in this way. Thank you for supporting your local schools. 2 I am writing to you today to ask for a donation to our school. I go to school at King High School just down the road from your box factory. My name is Sara Samuel, and I am the Student Council President. 3 We are preparing for our annual Homecoming parade and would like to create floats out of boxes. We have a great plan but need the resources to accomplish it. We need 75 boxes and were wondering if your company would be willing to donate them. Our sponsor said that wecould provide you with a receipt for tax deduction purposes, and we would make a banner to put on the floats that proudly proclaims "Donated by Square Box Company." I think this would be a great advertisement to the community since everyone comes out to watch the Homecoming parade. Sincerely Yours: Sara Samuel Student Council President 1234 NW Madison Street King, Illinois 55544 August 24, 2010 p.s. You can call me at 222-222-2222 with any questions or comments. Thanks!
